I have decided to go a different route this year picking the college games by waiting until week 3 to start making my predictions. Last year I started out horrible and finished very strongly. Last year, we finished at guessing the number 56% of the time correctly. Here are my picks for college football’s week 3 against the spread.
BYU vs Florida State- BYU has revenge on their mind this week as the play Florida State. Last year BYU was defeated at home, as Florida State killed any chances of BYU living up to their preseason hype. Both teams are coming of embarrassing losses, but I think BYU keeps it close, take the 10.5 points.
Utah vs New Mexico
New Mexico has been embarrassed the last few weeks losing to Oregon 72-0, Texas Tech 52-17. This week they are home, getting a tone of points, not to mention I don’t think they are as bad as some of the scores they lost by suggest. I say take the 23.5 and roll with New Mexico.
Fresno State vs Utah State
Utah State is one of those teams flying under the radar. They have looked good recently, keeping it close against Oklahoma and traditionally have played Fresno State tight. I like them getting 6 points at home, take Utah State
