Rex Ryan was not welcomed well in South Florida at a MMA event on Sunday.   A MMA event where Herschel Walker at the age of 47 won his first event.  During an interview Ryan was giving, his face was seen on the video scoreboard.  Due to the rivalry between the Jets and Dolphins, Dolphin fans started to boo.  Ryan said, ” I want to just tell everybody in Miami, hey, we’re coming to beat you twice next year.”  As Ryan was walking out of the arena, Dolphin fans were antagonizing Ryan, so Ryan gave them the middle finger.

Ryan apologized shortly after.

Like it or not, Rex Ryan has officially become a New Yorker.  There is an old saying, If you walk like a duck, you talk like a duck, you must be a duck.    This is the case for Rex Ryan.  Lets take a look at why.  For starters, Ryan like most commuting New Yorkers on a Monday morning at 8:30 on the FDR Drive, is excellent at giving the middle finger.  Ryan walking like a duck, check.  Ryan also had the audacity to say some rather choice words to fans in Miami, not to mention his cocky attitude  throughout the season in countless interviews.  Ryan is able to back up his talk by bringing his team with a rookie QB to the AFC Championship game.  So talking like a duck, and walking like a duck…check.
